Singer Lim Young-woong boosted the ratings of tvN’s 'Three Meals a Day: Light'. Lim Young-woong appeared on the episode of 'Three Meals a Day: Light' that aired on the 27th. According to Nielsen Korea, the rating for the episode recorded 11.8% (national average). It ranked first in its time slot across all channels, including terrestrial broadcasters. Compared to the previous episode (11.4%), it saw an increase of 0.4 percentage points. It started off successfully.
Lim Young-woong played a significant role. He became the hero of the countryside. Under the special guidance of Cha Seung-won and Yoo Hae-jin, he completed various tasks such as woodworking and potato harvesting.
The chemistry between the three was also a highlight. True to his word of having a “private mindset,” Lim Young-woong gave his best in everything he did.
Cha Seung-won and Yoo Hae-jin warmly welcomed their first guest, Lim Young-woong. Although passionate yet clumsy, Lim Young-woong was actively supported by them.
They slowly grew closer. The address of “Mr. Young-woong” naturally changed to “Young-woong-ah,” bringing smiles to the viewers.
The so-called 'Potato Hell' was also a point of laughter. It cost a lot to prepare a feast. They faced the situation of having to harvest 140kg of potatoes.
Without a moment to stretch their backs, the potato harvesting continued. After washing the dishes, Lim Young-woong went to the field to help his brothers pack the potatoes into boxes. They collected over 120kg.
Cha Seung-won’s feast was also mouth-watering. The spread included savory dishes such as chive pancakes, boiled pork, soybean paste stew, and stir-fried pork. It satisfied all five senses.
The production team said, “Please look forward to what kind of events Cha Seung-won, Yoo Hae-jin, and Lim Young-woong, who formed a ‘Three Meals Pledge’ after spending a day together, will face on the second day.”
Meanwhile, the Lim Young-woong episode of 'Three Meals a Day: Light' will return on the 4th of next month at 8:40 pm.
