Actress Lim Soo-jung is making her debut as a film producer. On the 8th, the production company Dal-gi announced, "The movie 'Second Child' (directed by Yoo Eun-jung) has confirmed its casting and began filming on the 7th." This marks Lim Soo-jung's debut as a producer and her first horror film role in 21 years.

'Second Child' is a thriller. It tells the story of Geum-ok, a mother who woke up from a three-year coma, only to believe that her first daughter Soo-ryeon committed suicide, and encounters 'Jae-in,' the doppelganger of her deceased daughter. Lim Soo-jung plays Geum-ok, returning to the horror genre for the first time since 'A Tale of Two Sisters' 21 years ago. She transforms into a mother weakened by the loss of her daughter and, as she approaches the truth of her daughter's death, confronts the reality of a curse when she meets the daughter's doppelganger.

This film is particularly noteworthy as Lim Soo-jung's first venture into production. She participated in the planning and production processes as a co-producer over a span of two years to enhance the film's quality. Lim stated, "I was captivated by the script and participated in the entire filmmaking process for the first time as a producer. My affection and responsibility for the project have grown even more."

Park So-yi portrays Soo-an, who mourns her deceased sister through the doppelganger of her sister who appears before her. Yuna plays Jae-in, the child who appears before Geum-ok and Soo-an, disrupting their family. Directed by Yoo Eun-jung, who won the Audience Award at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival for 'The Door into Summer,' the film is produced by Dal-gi, known for works like 'Merry Christmas Mr. Mo' and 'Moonlit Winter.'

The first shoot took place on the 7th. Lim Soo-jung expressed her excitement, saying, "I am thrilled and excited to be working with an excellent crew on a great project. I hope the stylish locations and atmosphere are conveyed perfectly to the audience."

'Second Child' is fully underway with filming.
