ILLIT makes its debut on the U.S. Billboard charts with ‘Magnetic’ charting on the ‘Global 200’.

ILLIT has made its entry into the U.S. Billboard charts just 8 days after debut.

According to the latest Billboard chart (dated June 6th), ILLIT has placed 63rd on the ‘Global 200’ with the title track ‘Magnetic’ from their mini-album ‘SUPER REAL ME’.

This marks the highest ranking for a debut song by a K-pop girl group on this chart. ‘Magnetic’ also secured the 33rd spot on the ‘Global (Excl. US)’ chart, proving the emergence of a super rookie.

The album ‘SUPER REAL ME’ also grabbed attention with its chart performance, landing 10th on the ‘World Albums’ chart and ranking 15th in the ‘Heatseekers Albums’ category.

The song’s performance on streaming platforms is especially noteworthy. ‘Magnetic’ charted on Spotify’s ‘Daily Top Songs Global’ on its release day, reaching its highest position at 14th on June 1st.

The song has also been warmly received by listeners in the United States, soaring to 51st place (on June 1st) with the number of listeners sharply increasing to about 2.8 million a day.

‘SUPER REAL ME’ is an album about being ‘the real me,’ infused with sincere and bold teenage emotions. Bang Si-hyuk, the chairman of HYBE, participated directly in producing all the tracks.

The album comprises 4 songs, including ‘Magnetic,’ ‘My World,’ ‘Midnight Fiction,’ and ‘Lucky Girl Syndrome,’ narrating the real stories of the girls.

Meanwhile, ILLIT is a girl group formed through JTBC’s ‘R U NEXT?’ featuring YoonA, Minju, Mocha, Wonhee, and Iroha, making up the five members.
