“I’ll show the best stage”… Jimin and Jungkook with the complete group

Jimin of ‘BTS’ extended New Year’s greetings.

On the 29th, Jimin shared on Weverse, “I enlisted last December, and two years have already passed,” adding, “I’ve been serving in the military for about 1 year and 2 months now, and it truly feels like time flows differently here.”

He expressed his anticipation for meeting the fans. Jimin said, “Military life isn’t easy, but there are things I’m learning and experiencing,” and he continued, “I look forward to the day when I can have fun conversations with all of you about everything that’s happened so far.”

Jimin has also adapted to life as a soldier. He added, “My routine hasn’t changed much. Being in the military, I go through training, work, exercise, and before I know it, the day ends, and it’s time for bed. It’s the same routine every day.”

Of course, there are new experiences, like his conversations with Jungkook before bed. Jimin and Jungkook enlisted together in December 2023, in the 5th Infantry Division located in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province. They are currently serving in the same division.

Jimin shared, “The days to meet ARMYs are getting closer,” and “We are having many discussions about what we need to prepare before we meet, what we will show you, and what kind of lives we will lead in the future.”

Regarding his return, he expressed his genuine feelings. “It’s been quite some time since we’ve all performed together,” he admitted, “and it’s been a while since we’ve been able to devote ourselves entirely to the stage and music, so there’s a bit of anxiety.”

However, he is determined to deliver the best performance for ARMY. “I will work hard to prepare. I will return with a truly great image. To our dear ARMY, whom I miss and am endlessly grateful for, please stay healthy until we meet again,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, Jimin and Jungkook are set to be discharged in June. BTS is planning full-group activities in the latter half of 2025.
