Announcer Kim Da-young (32) shared her thoughts on marrying Bae Sung-jae (46).
On the 8th, Kim Da-young announced her wedding news on Instagram, saying, "I have become spouses with the person I've been dating carefully and beautifully."
She continued, "If it weren't for the publicly exposed nature of our jobs and the environment we unconsciously overlapped, we might have been able to meet more comfortably," adding, "I spent a long time thinking about how we could be together in a harmless and unremarkable way."
Finally, she mentioned, "We plan to have a meal with only immediate family instead of a separate wedding ceremony," and concluded, "I will receive the congratulatory messages and blessings in spirit. We will live a normal and uneventful life."
Bae Sung-jae opened up on SBS PowerFM's 'Bae Sung-jae's Ten' the day before, saying, "I thought I would live alone, but it turned out this way. It was difficult to speak as the other person also has a public job."
He added, "I got involved while doing 'Gol-tae-nyeo.' I apologize and am embarrassed," explaining, "We decided to proceed without any other procedures. We are going on a honeymoon. I will announce the special DJ once it's decided."
He further noted, "I could not report it first, but I wanted to say it on the radio, so I conducted only the opening live," and added, "I thank those who congratulated us and apologize to those who were upset."
The couple met on SBS-TV's 'Gol-tae-nyeo.' They developed a romantic relationship and have been dating for two years. They will tie the knot in May.
