“I went 10 minutes early, but the door was locked, so I went back, and the photographer treated it as a ‘no-show’”

On the 2nd, a post titled "Is this also a generational difference?" was shared on X (formerly Twitter).

A immediately attempted to call the studio owner, but could not get through, and a text message asking, "I have a reservation for 11 AM today; are you open?" received no reply.

Ultimately, A had no choice but to go to another studio to take their passport photo.

Customer furious over the late response from the owner and the 'no-show' claim

About two hours later, A received a message from the studio owner stating, "You did not come at the reserved time, so we marked you as a no-show."

In response, A expressed frustration, saying, "I didn't not come; you didn't answer the phone, and the door was locked. I made two calls right in front of the store."

A also indicated their dissatisfaction, saying, "The no-show is what the owner did; you should apologize before labeling me a 'no-show.'"

In response, the studio owner stated, "The store opens at 11 AM, and I opened at 10:57 AM, but at that time, the customer was not present," and added, "I apologize for not being able to answer the phone."

A expressed their outrage by saying, "It's hot, and I'm frustrated. Is this right?" They further remarked that if the reservation had been made through Naver, they would have known it was a customer's phone call, revealing disappointment with the studio's response.

As this story circulated online, many netizens reacted, stating, "If the appointment is at 11 AM, how can you open the store at that time and expect to do business,” “The owner's sense of time is out of sync,” and “Who is labeling a no-show when you are the one who made the no-show?”
