
Girl group ‘I-LIT’ has surpassed 1 million in cumulative album sales just seven months after their debut. I-LIT released two albums this year. They debuted with their first album ‘Super Real Me’ on March 25th and recently made a comeback with their mini 2nd album ‘I Will Like You’.
According to ‘B-Lift Lab’ on the 30th, ‘Super Real Me’ has sold over 630,000 copies to date. ‘I Will Like You’ recorded initial sales (first-week sales after release) of 382,621 copies. They are also achieving good results in the music streaming section. The title track of their new album, ‘Cherish’, entered Melon’s ‘Top 100’ at number 77 on the release day, the 21st.
As of the 29th, it has climbed up to 36th place. It has also entered global charts. ‘Cherish’ first ranked at number 68 on Apple Music’s global ‘Top 100’ on the 28th and remained in the rankings for two consecutive days. On Spotify, as of the 28th, it was listed on the ‘Daily Top Songs’ chart in eight countries/regions, including Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore.
The initial heat of their debut song ‘Magnetic’ has yet to fade. ‘Magnetic’ made history by entering the Billboard ‘Hot 100’ as the first debut song by a K-pop group. It has remained on the Billboard chart for 31 consecutive weeks since. In the latest Billboard ‘Global’ (excluding the U.S.) and ‘Global 200’ charts (as of November 2nd), it ranked 85th and 152nd respectively.
