"On August 15, 2025, at 7:48 AM, let's meet in front of Andong Station."

In the summer of 2015, a documentary director and two female students made a pinky promise to meet again in ten years. Will that romantic promise come true?

KBS-2TV's "Documentary 3 Days" aired an episode featuring Andong Station in 2015, capturing the moments of young people embarking on a train journey.

Director Lee Ji-won met two university students at Andong Station. One student said, "I think traveling the same route in ten years will leave us with many memories." They spontaneously suggested, "Please film a documentary again in ten years." The director asked, "Will I still be doing this work then?"

Now, there are only 17 days left until August 15, 2025, at 7:48 AM.

Director Lee Ji-won shared with "Dispatch" on the 29th, "I just wanted to share memories with my friends by posting a video that day," adding, "I'm embarrassed that this has turned into such a big deal."

He continued, "I'm curious about how the students are doing. Of course, they may not be students anymore," he said with a laugh.

He hasn't yet decided whether he will go to the promised meeting place. He hinted, "Personally, I have a strong desire to go, even if I have to reduce my work as much as possible." However, he expressed concerns for safety at the scene, stating, "I'm worried that if we meet, many people might gather. The students' safety is my top priority, and I have a lot of thoughts about it."

Regarding the viewers' interest, he remarked, "I wonder if I am deserving of that kind of attention," and expressed gratitude, "Thank you for showing interest in the promise between the girls and me."

Meanwhile, KBS stated, "There is still nothing specifically decided for the new season of 'Documentary 3 Days,'" adding, "The production team is aware that this issue has become a topic."
