"Comrades, you've worked hard!" (J-Hope)
J-Hope (Jung Hoseok) of 'BTS' is gaining attention for a heartwarming story during his military service. He fully sponsored the MT (Membership Training) expenses for his comrades.
J-Hope recently sponsored the MT expenses for the sergeants of the Baekho Recruit Training Battalion, with whom he served. This fact became known when nine comrades who participated in the MT took commemorative photos.
The comrades raised a banner to express their gratitude to J-Hope. On the banner with J-Hope's photo, it read, "Comrades. You've worked hard. I’ll treat you all, so have fun! Loyalty!"
J-Hope received praise for leading a diligent life throughout his military service. He was selected as an elite soldier last October.
On the 17th of last month, J-Hope greeted ARMYs one month before his discharge. He reflected on his military life, saying, "Now that I have formed bonds, it becomes the more endearing."
He humorously said, "Looking back on my military life, I feel proud and dignified. Of course, now as a mere end-term sergeant, I am lying on my bed writing this."
Meanwhile, J-Hope enlisted as an active-duty soldier in April last year. He is currently serving as an instructor at the 36th Division Recruit Training Center. He is scheduled to be discharged on October 17.
