Singer Hyuna (32) and Yong Jun-hyung (35) are tying the knot. They will march down the aisle on the 11th at Samcheonggak in Seoul. They plan to hold a private ceremony attended by close acquaintances. The couple is getting married just nine months after making their relationship public. In January, they posted a picture of themselves holding hands on their respective SNS. Hyuna asked, "Please look kindly on us," while Yong Jun-hyung said, "We are doing well, receiving positive energy from each other, so please watch over us warmly."

In July, they announced their wedding. Hyuna stated, "During tough times, Yong Jun-hyung has been my comfort, and we promised to marry as the fruition of our love." She added, "I will begin a new chapter in life this October (wedding). I am grateful to everyone who always supports us with warm eyes." The agency 'At Area' concluded by saying, "We ask for many blessings for Hyuna's future, as she's made a significant decision both as an artist and a person."

Yong Jun-hyung's side also announced, "We would appreciate your affectionate interest and congratulations for Yong Jun-hyung as he opens a new life chapter as a couple."

Hyuna and Yong Jun-hyung once shared the same agency, Cube Entertainment. Yong Jun-hyung had featured in Hyuna's solo debut song 'Change.' However, after the wedding announcement, Hyuna was caught up in various rumors, including pregnancy. The agency stated, "We will take strict legal action without leniency or settlements." Hyuna debuted in 2007 with 'Wonder Girls.' She re-debuted in 2009 with '4Minute' and has also worked as a solo artist. She broke up with Dawn last year after six years of dating. Yong Jun-hyung debuted with 'Beast' in 2009. He made a fresh start with 'Highlight' in 2017 but left the team in 2019 after being embroiled in the Burning Sun scandal.
