
HYBE has contributed to the restoration of national heritage affected by the large-scale wildfires. On the 2nd, HYBE stated, "We extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt feelings to all those affected by the wildfires," adding, "As a content company engaged in the cultural industry, we hope to assist in the restoration of national heritage, even if just a little."
HYBE donated 1 billion won to the Cultural Heritage Administration and the Korean National Trust for Cultural Heritage. The Korean National Trust for Cultural Heritage is a special corporation under the Cultural Heritage Administration established to preserve, manage, and operate cultural heritage.
The donation will be used to repair and restore national heritage that has been completely destroyed or lost due to the wildfires, as well as to restore the surrounding environment. A total of 33 instances of damage have been reported, including the designated national cultural heritage site, Uiseong Gounsa Temple.
The Korean National Trust for Cultural Heritage expressed gratitude to HYBE for their support in the restoration and recovery of national heritage, stating, "We will promptly carry out the procedures for restoring damaged national heritage in cooperation with the Cultural Heritage Administration to ensure its value is fully restored."
