Actors Hwang Jung-min and Yum Jung-ah showcase thrilling action.
Netflix's new movie "Cross" (directed by Lee Myung-hoon) is set to be released on the 9th of next month. The main poster and official trailer have been revealed, capturing the action chemistry between Hwang Jung-min and Yum Jung-ah.
"Cross" is an entertainment action film. It tells the story of former agent "Kang-moo," who lives as a veteran househusband hiding his past from his wife, and "Mi-sun," the ace of the violent crime investigation team who misunderstands her husband's secret, as they get entangled in a large-scale incident.
The main poster captures the striking visuals of Kang-moo (played by Hwang Jung-min) and Mi-sun (played by Yum Jung-ah) as a couple. They are holding hands in bulletproof vests in front of an exploding bomb in the shape of a cross (X).
The main trailer begins with the everyday lives of Kang-moo and Mi-sun. Kang-moo was a former agent but now lives as a househusband. Mi-sun is known as the "Crocodile of the Violent Crimes Unit." She was a former national athlete and is now an active police officer in the violent crime investigation team.
Hui-joo (played by Jun Hye-jin), a junior colleague in trouble, appears in front of Kang-moo. They search for Jung-san (played by Kim Joo-heon), another junior colleague of Kang-moo and also Hui-joo's husband, who has gone missing. Mi-sun misunderstands the meeting between Kang-moo and Hui-joo.
As they chase after these events, they get caught up in a massive incident. Mi-sun jumps in to save Kang-moo, and Kang-moo returns to rescue Mi-sun. The couple becomes an unexpected team.
The film is expected to be filled with explosive action and witty banter. The fresh characters of the two actors and their reversed marital relationship are set to captivate viewers worldwide.
