Actor Hwang Jung-eum has been selected as an MC alongside Shin Dong-yeop for SBS Plus's new variety show 'Loving Solo'. 'Loving Solo' is a lifestyle-focused observational reality show that introduces various ways of living through the healthy solo lives of those who find joy and happiness every day.
Hwang Jung-eum and Shin Dong-yeop will lead the program. The production team stated, "Hwang Jung-eum brings a friendly charm that will create a harmonious atmosphere in the studio. She will deliver delightful laughs and share useful information."
Hwang Jung-eum is taking on her first MC role in her 23-year career. She said, "Many people around me supported me during tough times. I decided to take on this challenge with the hope of bringing joy to others."
Shin Dong-yeop will provide stability with his reliable hosting skills. A representative mentioned, "With his unmatched wit and quick thinking, he will play a solid pillar role."
Shin Dong-yeop expressed his excitement, saying, "I am looking forward to meeting interesting and likable participants. I think both Hwang Jung-eum and I will be a good fit for this show. We even have a mandatory group meal after filming."
The chemistry between the two MCs is also highly anticipated. They have previously worked together on 'Real Men' and 'SNL Korea'. Hwang Jung-eum playfully declared, "I plan to rely on Shin Dong-yeop oppa."
