High School Girl Falls from Rooftop… Hits 3 Passersby, 1 Dead, 2 Seriously Injured

On the afternoon of the 7th at around 2:34 PM, a high school student, identified as A, fell from the rooftop of a 13-story building in Gyeonggi Province's Gwangju-si, Gyeongan-dong.

A's fall led to a secondary accident, hitting three passersby.

A was transported to the hospital in cardiac arrest for treatment, and a 40-year-old woman, referred to as B, was also taken to the hospital in cardiac arrest.

Another teenager, identified as C, was confirmed dead at the scene.

A 20-year-old man, identified as D, suffered a shoulder injury and is reportedly experiencing symptoms of anxiety.

According to the police, it has been confirmed that A visited a psychiatric hospital located within the building shortly before the accident.

The police are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
