Seoul Gangnam Police Station Pursues Suspect Who Fled After Stealing Expensive Watches
The police are currently pursuing a suspect known as the 'Helmet Man' who stole five luxury watches from a second-hand luxury store in Gangnam, Seoul, in just 20 seconds.
On the 26th, MBN reported that the incident occurred at approximately 2:10 AM in a second-hand luxury store in Gangnam. According to the report, it took the male suspect only 20 seconds to steal the five watches.
According to store owner Mr. A, footage from the store's CCTV shows the suspect, wearing a black helmet, throwing something at the store, then smashing the glass with a hammer.
Afterwards, the man tore off a whole glass case, entered the store, and disappeared with the display’s expensive watches, taking several boxes with him.

Mr. A expressed his disbelief, stating, “Since there is a film on the glass, it didn’t shatter, but was pulled apart. I can't believe it; I'm still in shock.”
The watches stolen by the man were the most expensive items on display, including a 'Rolex'. Consequently, Mr. A suffered damages estimated at 150 million won.
After the crime, the man fled on a bicycle through alleys with minimal CCTV coverage. The Seoul Gangnam Police Station is pursuing the suspect based on CCTV footage from the vicinity of the store.
