The 'Hearts2Hearts' team is taking legal action against those spreading rumors.
On the 26th, SM Entertainment announced on 'Kwangya 119' that false information, malicious slander, and defamatory posts about Hearts2Hearts are being posted and circulated.
On the debut day of Hearts2Hearts, the 24th, some netizens posted about the school days of certain members on online communities and social media. These claims are currently unsubstantiated.
SM emphasized, "Creating and spreading baseless rumors by manipulating false content or unverified facts is clearly illegal."
Legal procedures have already been initiated. "We will respond strongly without any leniency or settlement against such illegal acts," they stated, adding that they will do their utmost to protect their artists.
Meanwhile, Hearts2Hearts is an eight-member girl group. They debuted with their first single 'The Chase' on the 24th. On the 27th, they will begin their music broadcast on Mnet's 'M Countdown'.
