The 'Harry Potter' TV series has announced an additional cast lineup, featuring new British actors. HBO revealed the supporting cast list for the series on the 10th, including nine characters such as Molly Weasley, Draco Malfoy, Lucius Malfoy, and Seamus Finnigan.
First, the Hogwarts students have been cast. Rocco Pratt has been selected for the role of Draco Malfoy. He is set to star in the upcoming British drama 'Lord of the Flies,' which will air this year.
Leo Armitage will portray Seamus Finnigan, Alessia Leoni will take on the role of Parvati Patil, and Sienna Mussa will play Lavender Brown. All three actors will be making their debut in the Harry Potter TV series.

Family roles have also seen some casting completed. Katherine Parkinson will play Molly Weasley, and Johnny Flynn will portray Lucius Malfoy. Bel Powley has been cast as Petunia Dursley, while Daniel Rigby will play Vernon Dursley.
HBO has particularly cast the actors for the Dursley couple to match the age range of the characters in the original novels, making them younger than the actors in the film adaptations. In addition, Bertie Carvel has been selected to play Cornelius Fudge.
Actors from the film adaptations have welcomed the new casting. Jason Isaacs, who played Lucius Malfoy in the films, praised Johnny Flynn on X on the 11th, stating, “There’s no one better suited to hand over the snake-headed wand than Flynn."
The production team revealed the main trio of actors on the 28th of last month. Dominic MacStephen will play Harry Potter, Arabella Standen will portray Hermione Granger, and Alasdair Stott will take on the role of Ron Weasley.
The 'Harry Potter' TV series is based on the novel of the same name by British author J.K. Rowling. Like the original books and films, it will consist of a total of seven seasons. The first season, 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone,' will debut on HBO Max next year.
