Rosé of 'BLACKPINK' expressed great joy over her new music video's milestone of 100 million views.
The music video for Rosé's pre-release single "APT." from her full album 'Rosie' surpassed 100 million cumulative views on YouTube as of the 23rd. This was achieved in just five days.
The global music market has come together. This music video became a significant topic not just domestically but internationally as well, garnering over 25 million views in a single day.
It topped various charts. It claimed the number one spot in popular rising videos and popular rising music, as well as trending in South Korea and the United States.
Rosé shared her thoughts, saying, "It's a song I wrote naturally based on a game I used to play with friends. I am very grateful that many people are listening and enjoying it with me."
Reflecting on the process of preparing for her solo album, she added, "I actually had a lot of worries and concerns, but seeing how much love it's receiving makes me happy and gives me strength."
"APT." is a song inspired by the game 'Apartment Game'. Pop star Bruno Mars joined in to complete the track. He also made a joint appearance with Rosé in the "APT." music video.
It is achieving mega-hit status worldwide. It reached number one on the iTunes Top Songs chart in 40 regions/countries. After entering the Spotify Global chart at number three, it continues to hold the top spot.
It also swept through Chinese charts, ranking first on QQ Music's Hot Chart and Rising Chart, and Rosé's new song claimed the top spot on Kugou Music's Pop Chart.
Domestically, it accomplished a 'perfect all-kill'. "APT." dominated all the real-time charts, daily charts, and top 100 charts on Melon, Genie, Bugs, and VIBE.
Meanwhile, Rosé is set to release 'Rosie' on December 6th. It will include 12 tracks, including "APT."
