Enjoying professional baseball in the water… The world's first 'infinity pool' opens in a stadium
How about heading on vacation to a unique stadium where you can watch baseball along with refreshing water activities during the hot summer?
On the 1st, at Hanwha Eagles' home ground, 'Hanwha Life Eagles Park', the trial operation of the 'infinity pool', announced by Hanwha on the 25th of last month, began with great interest from fans.
This marks the first instance of a swimming pool inside a baseball stadium in the Republic of Korea, and it is significant as it is also the world's first 'infinity pool' within a stadium.

The infinity pool is designed so that the edge of the water is not visible, creating a beautiful scene where nature and water waves blend together when the sky reflects off the clear water.
Winning the fierce reservation battle, Hanwha fans watched the 2025 KBO League NC game while wearing swimwear, hats, aqua shoes, and other items typical of a swimming pool.
Some audience members enjoyed a leisurely time floating on tubes in the water. The pool accommodates a maximum of 40 people, and those who reserved must prepare their own water play items.
Next to the pool, there is a jacuzzi filled with shallow water for children to play safely, along with a caravan for enjoying the warm sunshine.

On the 25th of last month, Hanwha stated, "The infinity pool at Daejeon Hanwha Life Ballpark will undergo a trial operation from July 1 for three days," and added, "We plan to officially open it to the general public from July 8 after addressing any safety and operational shortcomings observed during the trial."
Reservations for the trial operation period began on the 30th of last month. Although ticket prices vary by seating, tickets, averaging around 40,000 won, quickly sold out. The official opening will start from the KIA game on the 8th.
Hanwha plans to continue operating the infinity pool even after the season ends with the intention of “drawing people to the stadium on days without games.”
Upon hearing this news, Hanwha fans expressed their anticipation, saying, “It looks like it will be really refreshing,” “I imagined the ball sinking in the water,” and “Those sitting below the infinity pool might need to use umbrellas.”
