“‘Hangout with Yoo?’ Donates for the 6th Year… Contributions Totaling 470 Million Won This Year”

MBC-TV’s ‘Hangout with Yoo?’ will continue its donations for the sixth consecutive year. On the 27th, the ‘Hangout with Yoo?’ team announced, “We will donate earnings of 470 million won from broadcasting-related businesses, such as music sales and merchandise, according to the wishes of the members.”

This donation will be used to support vulnerable groups. It will be delivered to the Community Chest of Korea, Anna’s House, the Milal Welfare Foundation, the Eastern Social Welfare Society, and Severance Hospital.

This year, a donation involving Paris Olympic sports stars will also be added. The national archery team appeared in the ‘Hangout with Yoo Shoots’ episode and won scholarships.

They received funds to develop young talents in Korean archery. A total of 12 million won, with 2 million won each, is delivered to scholarship foundations in their alma maters and local areas for six athletes.

Woo Sang-hyeok, a national representative in the high jump, won a 7 million won scholarship in the ‘Hangout with Yoo Jumps’ episode. The donation is delivered to the Korea Association of Athletics Federations and will be used for nurturing talents.

The production team stated, “We are grateful to be able to return the love received from the viewers to more people,” and added, “We will strive to bring happiness in the New Year as well.” Meanwhile, ‘Hangout with Yoo?’ will be broadcast on the 28th at 6:25 PM.
