The happy moments of Han Suk-kyu's family have been revealed.
On the 2nd, MBC-TV released still cuts from the new Friday-Saturday drama "Such an Intimate Betrayer" (written by Han Ah-young, directed by Song Yeon-hwa). The stills portrayed the warm times between Han Suk-kyu, Chae Won-bin, and Oh Yeon-soo's characters.
The stills exuded a warm atmosphere. They captured the past of Jang Tae-soo (played by Han Suk-kyu), his daughter Jang Ha-bin (played by Chae Won-bin), and his wife Yoon Ji-soo (played by Oh Yeon-soo). The scenes, which depicted Ji-soo before her death, drew attention.
The stills illustrated a family outing. Tae-soo and Ji-soo are shown with bright smiles. Another scene showed Ji-soo and Ha-bin together. In contrast to Ji-soo's beaming smile, Ha-bin's somewhat expressionless face stood out.
The production team hinted, "There is an incident that turns Tae-soo's smile toward his daughter into suspicion. Following this suspicion, Tae-soo confronts the secrets and truths held by Ha-bin and Ji-soo."
They added, "As the family's truths are unveiled, it will deliver shocks and twists. The broadcast will reveal what tragedy struck when the family was happy and why Tae-soo came to suspect his daughter."
"Such an Intimate Betrayer" is a father-daughter thriller drama. It tells the story of the country's top profiler encountering the secrets of his daughter entangled in a murder case he is investigating, and as he tragically deteriorates, he pursues the truth buried deep.
It is the winning script of the 2021 MBC Drama Script Contest. Han Suk-kyu, Chae Won-bin, and Oh Yeon-soo bring to life a family shattered by suspicion. Han Suk-kyu plays Jang Tae-soo, a profiler father who suspects his daughter.
Episodes 1 and 2 of "Such an Intimate Betrayer" have been expanded to 90 minutes and will air on the 11th and 12th at 9:40 PM.
