MBC-TV's 'The Intimately Betrayed' (written by Han Ah-young, directed by Song Yeon-hwa, hereinafter 'The Intimate Betrayer') concludes on the 15th. Ahead of the final episode, key points to watch were highlighted.
Firstly, the full story of the Lee Soo-hyun (played by Song Ji-hyun) case. It was the beginning of all incidents, yet the real culprit has not been revealed. Jang Ha-bin (played by Chae Won-bin) became a murder suspect.
The cell tower records raised more doubts, especially regarding the whereabouts of Ha-bin and her mother Yoon Ji-soo (played by Oh Yeon-soo) on the day of death. They appeared to be at the scene.
Hints are contained in the stills of the final episode. Besides Ha-bin and her mother, Soo-hyun is also caught. She seems to have been with them in a disheveled state before her death, as if something happened.
Choi Young-min (played by Kim Jung-jin), leader of the runaway group, met with Kim Sung-hee (played by Choi Yoo-hwa), the owner of the lodging. They shared a secretive conversation, exhibiting suspicious behavior.
The ending for Jang Tae-soo (played by Han Seok-kyu) and the Ha-bin father-daughter duo is also noteworthy. Tae-soo suspected his extraordinary daughter of murder and regretted it later.
This suspicion led to tragedy. His relationship with his daughter was destroyed. His wife also passed away. Though he now decided to trust, his daughter didn't let go of her desire for revenge.
Unpredictable developments unfold, and it's essential to watch if the conclusion for Tae-soo and Ha-bin will be a happy ending or another tragedy.
There is also keen interest in the ending for the Crime Behavior Analysis Team. Tae-soo actively concealed his daughter's involvement in the murder case, violating investigative principles.
Han Ji-eun (played by Han Ye-ri) identified Ha-bin as the suspect and investigated. Koo Dae-hong (played by Noh Jae-won) allowed his emotions to interfere out of sympathy for Do-yoon (played by Jo Sung-ha).
Director Song Yeon-hwa recently stated in an interview, "The final episode will be the one where the parts remaining as question marks to viewers turn into exclamation points."
The production team also commented, "The ending for the father-daughter duo, who became 'The Intimately Betrayed' to each other, will leave a deep impression," heightening anticipation for the finale.
Meanwhile, the 10th episode of 'The Intimate Betrayer' will have an extended runtime of 90 minutes and will air at 9:40 pm.
