Actor Han Seok-kyu is set to become a new type of hero, helping those in crisis in his unique way.
On the 13th, the production team of tvN's new drama 'Project Shin-Sajang' (written by Ban Gi-ri, directed by Shin Kyeong-su) announced Han Seok-kyu's casting, stating, "Han Seok-kyu will play the role of Shin-Sajang."
'Project Shin-Sajang' is a work that captures a nationwide communication project. Amidst the lament of a communication-impaired era, it tells the story of a negotiation master mediating conflicts for those in crisis.
Han Seok-kyu will portray Shin-Sajang, the owner of a chicken restaurant. Shin-Sajang is a negotiator with a generous personality and clear speaking skills who mediates fights between neighbors whenever conflicts arise.
His identity sparks curiosity. He possesses an aura that makes it hard to believe he is just an ordinary chicken shop owner. He is equally equipped with eloquent speech and a bold competitive spirit.
The production team praised, "It is unimaginable to have anyone other than Han Seok-kyu as Shin-Sajang. It is not an exaggeration to say that Han Seok-kyu is both the beginning and the end of 'Project Shin-Sajang' and its identity."
They raised expectations for his exciting negotiations, stating, "Shin-Sajang's tough actions and sharp intellect are expected to make viewers return regularly. We ask for much anticipation."
Meanwhile, 'Project Shin-Sajang' is set to premiere in the second half of this year.
