Han Dong-hoon: "Clearing Out the Pro-Yoon Factions is the Only Way to Defeat Lee Jae-myung's Democratic Party"
Han Dong-hoon, former leader of the People Power Party, strongly urged the need to clear out the pro-Yoon (pro-Yoon Suk-yeol) faction on the 24th.
In a Facebook post, Han emphasized, "Clearing out the pro-Yoon factions is the way to save the People Power Party, conservatism, and the Republic of Korea. That is the only path to defeating Lee Jae-myung’s Democratic Party in this critical election."

Han made it clear that clearing out the pro-Yoon factions is essential to overcoming the current gap in support rates.
He explained, "The reason I am calling for the clearing out of the pro-Yoon factions now is to win against Lee Jae-myung’s Democratic Party in this important election. Only by doing so can we overcome the current gap in support."
Intense Criticism of the Behavior of the Pro-Yoon Faction
Han escalated his criticism by specifically pointing out the behaviors of the pro-Yoon factions.
He stated, "Without clearing out the pro-Yoon factions that have taken advantage of Yoon Suk-yeol and Kim Gun-hee, ruined the country, defended illegal martial law, deceived the public with 'enlightenment orders,' bowed down to extreme right YouTubers, followed Jeon Kwang-hoon’s events, and ultimately staged a coup within the party at dawn, it is impossible to attract rational moderate votes."

He further argued, "Moderate citizens will think that without clearing out these pro-Yoon factions, even if we win, it will just be a world where only Yoon Suk-yeol and Kim Gun-hee are absent, and the pro-Yoon factions will continue to prevail."
Mention of Suspicion Over Party Power Deal with Lee Jun-seok’s Reformist Party
Han also refuted anonymous criticisms directed at him by pro-Yoon figures.
He remarked, "The pro-Yoon factions are hiding anonymously while accusing me of being guilty of their truth and vowing to hold me accountable."
In particular, Han criticized, "It is the pro-Yoon factions who are engaging in real guilty behavior by attempting to negotiate party power deals with people they forcibly ousted in order to maintain their pro-Yoon power even without the former president and his spouse, Yoon Suk-yeol and Kim Gun-hee."

This refers to claims made by Lee Dong-hoon, the spokesperson for the election strategy committee of the Reformist Party, mentioning that some pro-Yoon figures proposed a party power deal for unification with the presidential candidate from Lee Jun-seok’s Reformist Party.
Previously, on the 21st, Lee stated on Facebook, "Recently, People Power Party figures have been calling the candidate’s side a lot to propose unification. Most of them are from the pro-Yoon faction," and revealed, "These individuals say things like 'We will give you party power, so let’s unify' and 'Come and take over the party.'"
