"One hour after the passage of the motion to lift the martial law, what happened?" Silence to the question
Former Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, who is under suspicion of abetting a rebellion related to the martial law declared on December 3, returned home after finishing a 14-hour special investigation into the rebellion.
On the night of the 2nd, around 11:42 PM, former Prime Minister Han stood in front of waiting reporters outside the special investigation room at the Seoul High Prosecutor's Office in Seocho-dong, Seoul.

However, he only stood in front of them, ignoring the barrage of questions from the reporters without responding.
With a dazed expression, he did not open his mouth to answer any of the questions that flooded in, including "Why did you sign and discard the post-martial law document?", "Did you really make efforts to prevent the martial law?", "Have you confirmed the footage captured on the CCTV in the meeting room?", and "What did you do during the hour after the National Assembly passed the resolution to demand the lifting of the martial law?"
14 hours of intense investigation… silence from arrival to departure

Earlier, former Prime Minister Han arrived at the Seoul High Prosecutor's Office at 9:55 AM for the investigation.
Even at his arrival, he faced a barrage of questions from reporters such as "What part will you clarify?", "How do you view the suspicion of abetting rebellion?", and "Do you consider yourself a victim of former President Yoon's abuse of power?", but he did not respond and went directly to the investigation room.
Suspicion of tacit approval and abetting of martial law… Special investigation team investigates the order for document disposal
The special investigation team into the rebellion suspects that former Prime Minister Han and some cabinet members knowingly tolerated or abetted acts of rebellion despite being aware of the plan to declare martial law.

In particular, former Prime Minister Han is also under suspicion of requesting the disposal of the emergency martial law declaration document that was signed by Kang Yi-goo, then head of the Presidential Office's attached office, after the martial law was declared, due to concerns that "it could cause controversy if it's known that the document was made post-factum."
The investigation was expected to go past midnight but concluded after about 14 hours. The special investigation team plans to review the decision-making lines related to the martial law and the possibility of applying rebellion charges based on former Prime Minister Han's statements.
