Actor Ha Jung-woo delivers a raw performance. Distributor Barunson E&A announced on the 18th that the movie ‘Broken’ (directed by Kim Jin-hwang) is set to release on February 5th next year. Along with this, they unveiled the first-look stills capturing Ha Jung-woo in an intense moment.
‘Broken’ follows Min-tae (played by Ha Jung-woo) on a furious pursuit. It’s a story about his search for truth after his sibling returns as a corpse, his wife disappears, and a bestseller novel predicts the events. In the stills, Ha Jung-woo is fully transformed into Min-tae, expressing the overwhelming rage of a brother who lost his sibling.
Particularly, his rugged beard and stern expression reveal the character’s charisma. In the film, Min-tae chases the truth buried in darkness the night his sibling died. For his sibling, there is nothing he won’t do or nowhere he won’t go.
He’s driven by uncontrollable rage in his pursuit. New director Kim Jin-hwang took the helm. Director Kim gained attention in the film industry with his feature debut ‘Shepherds.’ The film stars Ha Jung-woo, Kim Nam-gil, and Yoo Da-in.
