Gwangju North District Office Employee Found Dead in Vehicle in Parking Lot
A public servant in his 30s affiliated with the Gwangju North District Office was found dead in a vehicle parked in a parking lot, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
On the 14th, the Gwangju Northern Police Station announced that a man in his late 30s, identified as Mr. A, was found dead in a vehicle parked in a parking lot in Jungheung-dong, Gwangju at approximately 2:40 PM.
Upon confirming his identity, it was determined that Mr. A was an 8th-grade civil servant at the Gwangju North District Office.
The police received a missing person report from Mr. A's family, who expressed concern that "they could not contact him." During the search, Mr. A was discovered. A note left by Mr. A was reportedly found inside the vehicle.
The police have determined that there are no criminal suspicions surrounding the incident and are currently investigating the exact cause of death.
Currently, after comprehensively reviewing the scene and the content of the note, the police believe that there are no signs of foul play in this case. However, they are continuing with further investigation into the specific circumstances and cause of the incident.
The North District Office has yet to release an official statement.
