J-Hope of BTS sends a handwritten letter ahead of his new album release.

J-Hope is set to release his special album ‘Hope on the Street Vol.1’ globally at 1 PM on the 29th. It’s his solo album coming out 7 months after ‘Jack In The Box’.

Through a handwritten letter, J-Hope introduced his new songs. “Before enlisting in the military, amidst the rush, perhaps a bit hastily prepared, but here it is,” he started.

He mentioned, “This album and content are a bit more about getting to know J-Hope and one of the cultures I want to continue leading.”

He shared his conviction, “‘Good music creates good dance.’ That’s the meaning of dance, the charm of street dance, and the first thing this album and content want to show.”

He added, “The excitement when the expressions I always want to convey come out in the world is tremendous. Trying until this personal satisfaction becomes everyone’s satisfaction is the ‘goal’.”

J-Hope concluded, “Thank you for always believing and relying on me. Thank you for waiting for this album’s content. Enjoy it fun.”

‘Hope on the Street Vol.1’ focuses on street dance, containing 6 tracks. It encapsulates J-Hope’s growth as an artist and his initial aspirations.

The title track is ‘NEURON’. Other tracks include ‘On The Street’, ‘I Wonder’, ‘Lock/Unlock’, ‘I Don’t Know’, ‘What If’, featuring a range of music.

J-Hope participated in writing lyrics for all tracks, showcasing his musical capabilities. Jungkook, Gaeko, Yoon Mirae, and Hur Yunjin participated as featuring artists.

‘Title track ‘NEURON’ is a 2000s old-school hip-hop genre song. J-Hope sings about his musical roots, life’s motivation, and anticipation for a new start in this track.

Dynamic Duo’s Gaeko and Yoon Mirae feature, adding flair. They discuss what ‘neuron’-like existence means to each, enriching the song’s depth.

The documentary series is the pinnacle of this project. It captures J-Hope’s interactions with various street dancers in Osaka, Paris, Seoul, New York, and Gwangju.

The ‘Hope on the Street’ project concludes with a pop-up event. It will be held from March 30 to April 5 in Seongdong-gu, Seongsu-dong, Seoul.
