Actors Gong Hyo-jin and Lee Min-ho embark on a destined rendezvous. The new tvN weekend drama 'Ask the Stars' (written by Seo Sook-hyang, directed by Park Shin-woo) highlighted key points to watch on the 4th, including acting synergy, unique themes, and diverse relationships.
First, 'Ask the Stars' features "trustworthy" actors. In addition to Gong Hyo-jin and Lee Min-ho, Oh Jung-se, Han Ji-eun, and Lee El complete the solid lineup.
The star production team also draws attention. Director Park Shin-woo and writer Seo Sook-hyang reunite after SBS-TV's 'Jealousy Incarnate,' promising delicate direction and a sensory story.
The unique theme also catches the eye. 'Ask the Stars' is the first space office drama in Korea. It portrays the daily lives of astronauts against the backdrop of a space station.
Especially, the space environment is entirely different from Earth. Yet, efforts are being made to find new possibilities, offering viewers a unique experience.
Lastly, the diverse relationships add interest. Gong Ryong (played by Lee Min-ho) pays an astronomical amount to tour a space station. To Eve Kim (played by Gong Hyo-jin), he's an uninvited guest.
Other characters interweave, transcending between Earth and space, which enhances the fun. Space scientist Kang Kang-su (played by Oh Jung-se) and MZ Group heir Cho Go-eun (played by Han Ji-eun) contribute to the viewing interest.
'Ask the Stars' chronicles the life outside Earth of Eve and Gong Ryong. It premieres at 9:20 PM tonight.
