Actor Ko Kyung-pyo has once again addressed the absurd rumors surrounding him. On the 8th, Ko Kyung-pyo stated on his personal Instagram, “My name was mentioned in an embarrassing, dirty rumor,” and expressed that he was troubled by “several crazy people fabricating and spreading it as if it were true.”
He continued, “Though the internet culture is deteriorating day by day, I really felt the extent to which things can escalate from nothing,” and lamented, “I’m also worried about the many people who might suffer in this way in the future.”
Previously, a baseless rumor circulated about Ko Kyung-pyo, claiming that he took explicit photos with a woman at an unmanned photo booth in Busan. It was an absurd story. Ko Kyung-pyo said, “Nevertheless, many people have approached it with common sense and have shown they are not swayed. I was touched by this.”
He added, “I will organize everything well to leave behind even a small, just precedent, and I plan to respond firmly to those who willingly bring themselves below human standards,” concluding with, “Happy New Year.” He also drew attention with some witty self-promotion.
