Singer G-Dragon has launched a foundation for public projects. As the honorary chairman, he is expected to exert a positive influence.

Last December, G-Dragon announced the establishment of the foundation to combat drug abuse. The 'JusPeace Foundation' will hold its inaugural event on the 5th.

The agency 'Galaxy Corporation' stated, "Since January, we have been through advisory meetings, expert consultations, discussions by fields, and business preparations."

The name 'JusPeace Foundation' was directly chosen by G-Dragon. JusPeace is a combination of Justice and Peace.

G-Dragon said, "Even if it's not a grand meaning of justice, correcting misunderstandings is a form of justice in our lives," adding, "When feeling wronged, it's important to have someone by your side who believes in you until the end."

The JusPeace Foundation aims to contribute to the development of copyright culture, directly connected to nurturing creative talents. The goal is to contribute to society through artistic talents.

It plans to pursue the public use of copyrights, support for creative artistic talents, support for creators involved in public activities, and musical therapy support for teenage drug addicts.

G-Dragon will serve as the honorary chairman. He said, "Artists don't just create art, they can also live lives that bring happiness and peace to the world."

He continued, "Beyond giving love and peace to the world through music, showing positive influence through social service or public foundations can help more people," explaining the motivation behind establishing the foundation.

Choi Yong-ho, the CEO (Chief Happiness Officer) of Galaxy Corporation and the chairman of the foundation, stated, "Following G-Dragon's vision, we will undertake unique social contributions by starting with the donation of copyrights and their profits."
