FT ISLAND will hold a concert as a complete three-member group. Choi Min-hwan, who had suspended activities due to personal issues, will also take the stage. FT ISLAND will host '2025 FT ISLAND LIVE MAD HAPPY' at Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Seoul on August 23-24. The agency announced the concert news on their official SNS on the 30th, stating, "This performance will feature Lee Hong-ki, Lee Jae-jin, and Choi Min-hwan. Please take note when making your reservations."

A representative explained, "The concert name expresses the feeling of being madly happy. The moment FT ISLAND truly feels happiness is when they are on stage with the audience." FT ISLAND will meet domestic fans for the first time in about a year. They communicated with fans last June through '2024 FT ISLAND LIVE PULSE.' They hinted at their enduring vocal prowess and seasoned stage manners.

Choi Min-hwan suspended his activities in October of last year due to the revelation of personal matters involving his ex-wife, Yul-hee. Choi Min-hwan asserted that there were no illegal activities, such as prostitution, involved. He countered that the reason for the divorce lay with Yul-hee.

Yul-hee filed a mediation application with the court for a change of custodial rights, as well as compensation and property division claims against Choi Min-hwan. A decision of non-establishment of mediation was made due to failure to reach an agreement. Meanwhile, tickets for 'MAD HAPPY' can be reserved through NOL Ticket. Pre-sales for Weverse members will begin at 8 PM on the 3rd of next month, while general sales will start at 8 PM on the 9th of the same month.
