Korean stars have proven their global power by being included in the '30 Under 30' list by a leading U.S. financial magazine.
On the 15th of last month (Korean time), 'Forbes' revealed its list of '30 Under 30 Asia' on its website. Two boy groups and three actors were selected in the Entertainment & Sports category, including Stray Kids, Big Ocean, and actors Cha Eun-woo, Ko Min-si, and Ha Ye-rin.
The media highlighted Stray Kids, stating, "They are the third group to achieve number one on the Billboard 200,” and noted that they are also on TIME's Next Generation Leaders list.
Regarding Big Ocean, they focused on their distinction as the world's first auditory disability artist. Cha Eun-woo was introduced as "one of the top models in the advertising industry."
Ko Min-si’s debut work was noted, where she starred, directed, and produced the film 'Parallel Fiction.' Ha Ye-rin was mentioned for her appearance in Netflix’s 'Bridgerton 4.'
Athletes were also recognized. Golf player Kim Joo-hyung and archery national representative Lim Si-hyun are included; however, there was an issue with Lim Si-hyun’s photo being incorrectly posted.
Another familiar face was Chef Kwon Seong-jun (Napoli Mafia), the winner of Netflix's 'The Chef Showdown,' who was included in the Arts (Visual Arts, Style, Food) category.
