Actors Ha Yoo-jun, Park Ji-hoo, and N.Flying's Lee Seung-hyup formed a refreshing combination.
On the 17th, SBS unveiled the first script reading scene for its new drama "Spring of Four Seasons" (written by Kim Min-cheol, directed by Kim Sung-yong). The youthful chemistry generated anticipation for the birth of a coming-of-age drama.
"Spring of Four Seasons" is a youth music romance. It tells the story of Sa-kyung (played by Ha Yoo-jun), a member of the best K-pop band, who is expelled from the team and meets Kim-bom (played by Park Ji-hoo) at university to make a comeback.
Director Kim Sung-yong observed the rehearsal process, starting with warm encouragement. Alongside Ha Yoo-jun, Park Ji-hoo, and Lee Seung-hyup, actors Jo Han-cheol, Kim Jong-tae, Cha Cheong-hwa, and Kim Byeong-ki participated.
Ha Yoo-jun took on the role of Sa-kyung, the former band leader. Although it was his first script reading, he felt somewhat nervous but showed his true self while reading the script and quickly blended into the character.
Park Ji-hoo plays Kim-bom, a musical prodigy and a student at an Ivy League school who becomes a professional part-timer after her mother’s death. Her three-dimensional acting stood out.
Lee Seung-hyup portrayed Seo Tae-yang, a medical student at Hankook University and the head of the band club. His calm diction added to the character's charm, and he occasionally showcased charismatic gazes.
Moreover, trusted actors boosted the atmosphere on set, helping deepen the immersion with their profound skills. They heightened curiosity toward the work through their diverse characters.
The production team expressed, "We were amazed by the actors' passion from the script reading," and added, "Spring of Four Seasons will meet viewers throughout the spring of 2025. Please look forward to it."
Meanwhile, "Spring of Four Seasons" will premiere on the 6th of next month at 10:40 PM.
