Actress Kim Hee-sun will appear in the drama 'There is No Next Life' (written by Shin I-won, directed by Sung Do-jun). It is set to air in November as a weekend mini-series on TV Chosun, and it will be broadcast simultaneously on Netflix.

'There is No Next Life' is a humanistic woman romance drama that vividly portrays the real lives of three friends who are approaching their forties. Kim Hee-sun plays the role of Jo Na-jung, a 'return-to-work' show host. She was once a successful show host earning a six-digit salary, but her career was put on hold due to marriage and raising children. Kim Hee-sun powerfully captures the realities, ideals, frustrations, and challenges faced by a forty-one-year-old return-to-work woman.

Her agency, Hinge Entertainment, stated, "Viewers will meet Kim Hee-sun, who has a completely different atmosphere compared to her previous work 'Our House.' We will realistically represent the intricate emotions experienced by women in their 2050s."

'There is No Next Life' tells the story of three women in their forties living with different struggles in distinct environments. The drama captures the anxieties and confusion faced at the pivotal point of turning forty. The three friends will navigate their second adolescence through laughter, tears, and empathy.

The direction is handled by Sung Do-jun, who realistically expresses warmth and humanity in 'Uncle.' The screenplay is written by Shin I-won, recognized for her emotionally intricate writing in 'Green Mothers' Club.'

Meanwhile, Kim Hee-sun will also bring joy through variety shows. She has been appointed as the main MC for JTBC's 'One Meal a Day,' where she will communicate with citizens while exploring 'Today's Neighborhood' alongside Tak Jae-hoon.
