Unlicensed 'Teen' Drivers Arrested by Police
Three teenagers were arrested by the police for reckless driving after stealing a vehicle while unlicensed.
According to the Chungnam Asan Police Station on the 11th, three individuals, including A (17), were caught in the act on the 9th near an elementary school in the southeastern district of Cheonan on charges of vehicle theft.
They are suspected of driving a stolen car unlicensed on a road in Baebang-eup, Asan-si, around 2 PM on the 9th.

Teens Caught in Traffic Violation for 'Not Wearing Seatbelt'
When the police, enforcing traffic laws, signaled them to stop for 'not wearing a seatbelt,' A and the others fled the scene. The police pursued them for about 10 minutes, covering a 6km distance in the Asan and Cheonan areas.
During the getaway, A and the others drove recklessly, exceeding speed limits, driving in reverse, crossing the center line, and running traffic signals.
As the police tightened the encirclement, they abandoned the car near an elementary school in the southeastern district of Cheonan and attempted to escape but were ultimately apprehended by the police.
As a result of the police investigation, it was revealed that A and the others had stolen the vehicle from Pyeongtaek City, Gyeonggi Province while unlicensed. It was confirmed that they already had prior records for vehicle theft and unlicensed driving.

The vehicle was identified as a car reported stolen from Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province.
The police plan to request an arrest warrant for the three teenagers, including A, and will transfer the case from the Asan Police Station to the Pyeongtaek Police Station for further investigation.
