Individuals B, D, and E are also suspected of directly consuming methamphetamine at their residences.

This case exemplifies the gradual formation of a drug distribution network in the Jinju area and is evaluated as a successful outcome in blocking the drug supply chain through systematic police investigations.

Operation of Focused Crackdown Period on Drug Crimes

Meanwhile, the police are implementing a "Focused Crackdown on Drug Crimes" for the first half of the year, from March 17 to the end of the next month, to eradicate drug-related offenses.

During the crackdown period, investigations are targeted at key distribution routes for narcotics, including online drugs, medical narcotics from hospitals and clinics, vulnerable areas such as entertainment districts and foreigner-dense regions, and illegal cultivation of poppies and cannabis.
