Three Chinese men and two Laotian women were arrested by Thai authorities for broadcasting live sexual acts as the main content from a pool villa in Pattaya, Thailand.
Local media, including the Bangkok Post, reported in detail on this incident on the 7th of this month (local time).

The Thai Immigration Bureau announced that they raided the pool villa in Pattaya the day before and arrested those who were live broadcasting at the scene.
The identities of the arrested suspects were confirmed as three Chinese men in their 40s to 50s: 53-year-old Mr. Feng, 48-year-old Mr. Hong, and 43-year-old Mr. Zhi, along with two Laotian women in their early to mid-20s (aged 26 and 24).
Immigration officials stated that they had received reports regarding the Chinese men using Thai houses as locations for pornography filming, broadcasting explicit adult content through Chinese online platforms, and had been conducting investigations based on these tips.
After securing sufficient evidence, authorities targeted the pool villa in Pattaya during the live broadcast to conduct the raid.
Evidence and Legal Consequences

The police seized condoms, various adult products, and equipment used for video production through a search of the scene. This will be used as evidence to prove that they were intentionally producing adult content.
The Laotian women arrested reportedly stated during police questioning that they received 3,000 baht (approximately 13,000 KRW) per live broadcast.
This amount is significantly higher compared to the average salary in Thailand, suggesting that they may have participated in these illegal activities for economic reasons.
Ultimately, all five individuals were charged with producing and distributing pornographic content for commercial purposes.
