Kim Hye-kyung and Lee Boo-jin Attend the Opening Ceremony of Women's Entrepreneurship Week
Kim Hye-kyung and Lee Boo-jin, CEO of Shilla Hotels, were seen together at the '4th Women's Entrepreneurship Week Opening Ceremony' held at the Dynasty Hall of Shilla Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, on the 1st of the month.
On this day, Mrs. Kim attended to encourage women entrepreneurs, while CEO Lee, the owner of Shilla Hotel, sat right next to her as a guest of honor.

Women's Entrepreneurship Week is held annually during the first week of July based on the 'Act on Supporting Women Entrepreneurs.' The event is organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in collaboration with five women’s economic organizations, including the Korean Women's Entrepreneur Association and the Korean Women's Venture Association.
Approximately 500 people, including women entrepreneurs, heads of small and medium-sized enterprises, and representatives from relevant organizations, attended the opening ceremony, which was a great success. Jin Deok-soo, CEO of Daehong Costec, received the Gold Tower Industrial Medal.
Contrasting Fashion of Two Women Leaders
The two women, who received enthusiastic cheers from the women entrepreneurs gathered at the event, also showcased contrasting fashion. Kim Hye-kyung wore a pristine white two-piece suit, while CEO Lee donned a black pantsuit, creating a visual contrast.
Just before the event began, when Mrs. Kim entered, the attendees stood up and welcomed her with applause.

In her speech, Mrs. Kim stated, "I assume that women entrepreneurs face many challenges not only as businesspeople but also as women, such as the glass ceiling and career interruptions."
She continued, "I hope that women entrepreneurs will take the lead in overcoming the crises faced by the Republic of Korea, especially the low-growth and low-birthrate crises."
CEO Lee participated in the 'Key of Hope' performance during the event.
The performance involved standing on stage with distinguished guests in front of a key box and inserting a symbolic key in sync with a chant. Even after Mrs. Kim left after the first part of the event, Lee remained on-site, actively engaging with women entrepreneurs.
Surrounded by dozens of women entrepreneurs, Lee shook hands and took photographs, and during the second part of the event, where a dinner was prepared, she walked around the tables to encourage attendees and greet them.

Meanwhile, this year's opening ceremony of Women's Entrepreneurship Week was jointly organized by women's economic organizations, including the Korean Women's Entrepreneur Association, Korean Women's Venture Association, Korean Women's Invention Association, Korean IT Women Entrepreneurs Association, and the Federation of Korean Women Scientists and Engineers.
