Beyoncé became the face of the 2025 Grammy Awards, achieving her long-cherished dream of winning the "Album of the Year" trophy. She now owns a total of 35 Grammy trophies.

The 67th Grammy Awards took place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles (LA) on the 2nd (local time). This year's ceremony aimed to raise funds for wildfire recovery and honored the dedication of firefighters.

Beyoncé won awards in three categories. Firstly, she claimed "Album of the Year" with her 8th studio album "Cowboy Carter."

Beyoncé had been nominated for "Album of the Year" four consecutive times in the past but hadn't won. She finally clinched the trophy on her fifth attempt.

She also received the "Best Country Album" award. This award holds special significance as Beyoncé became the first Black woman in Grammy history to win in the country category.

Beyoncé's "Cowboy Carter" album fused various music genres such as country, blues, R&B, and pop, expanding the boundaries of country music.

The mainstream of the country genre has historically been white artists. Additionally, Beyoncé has been known for focusing on pop and R&B genres. Her presence in the country genre not only highlighted Black artists but also opened the door for diversity in the genre.

On the day, Beyoncé expressed, "I am so honored," adding, "Many years have passed. I thank the Grammys, all the songwriters and producers. I hope to keep opening new chapters together."

The album's track "II Most Wanted," a collaboration with Miley Cyrus, also won the Best Country Duo/Group Performance.

Kendrick Lamar won both the "Record of the Year" and "Song of the Year" awards with "Not Like Us."

This song is a diss track aimed at rapper Drake, marking an end to their long-standing feud. Kendrick Lamar said, "I am grateful to all the artists who inspired me," adding, "Rap is the most powerful music."

He also mentioned Los Angeles. "I want to dedicate this award to this city," he said, "I don't know how to express my gratitude to all the places where I wrote songs. They are such precious spaces."

The Grammy's choice for "Best New Artist" was Chapel Roan, an American singer-songwriter, who gained immense popularity last year with the single "Good Luck, Babe!"

Chapel Roan stated, "If I win a Grammy, I want to tell the labels and the music industry to set up a system to support newcomers," adding, "I hope artists are treated and protected with care."
