FIFTY FIFTY has gained global momentum. ATTRACT announced on the 22nd that they have signed a distribution contract with Sony Music Entertainment Korea (hereinafter referred to as Sony Music) for FIFTY FIFTY's new release.
According to their agency, ATTRACT CEO Jeon Hong-jun signed the contract with Shraddha Subramaniam, the president of Sony Music Asia & Middle East, on the 30th of last month.
Sony Music is a specialized album distribution label and an affiliate of Sony Group. It is considered one of the world's top three major record companies, along with Universal and Warner Music.
Sony Music will lead the overseas distribution of FIFTY FIFTY's new album. It also plans to support global marketing campaigns and business development initiatives.
The campaign based in the United States will be undertaken by Arista Records, a subsidiary of Sony Music. They aim to replicate the success of "Cupid."
Joo Young-chan, CEO of Sony Music, expressed hope, saying, "The combination of FIFTY FIFTY and our global influence will exert strong power in the music industry."
ATTRACT CEO Jeon Hong-jun also expressed his expectations: "It feels like gaining a powerful ally through our global partnership with Sony Music," he said, expressing satisfaction.
He added, "We will provide full support to meticulously plan our global marketing strategy and make another attempt at global charts. We ask for your continued support."
Meanwhile, FIFTY FIFTY will be making a comeback with a mini-album on the 20th of next month.
