Felix of ‘Stray Kids’ takes the lead in doing good deeds. A representative from the Korean Committee for UNICEF announced on the 23rd, “Felix will join the ‘UNICEF Team’ campaign.
He is set to take action for children worldwide.” The campaign has been ongoing since 2018, encouraging everyone to become one team to support children suffering from wars, disasters, and poverty.
As a goodwill ambassador for the Korean Committee, Felix will work alongside Yuna Kim (UNICEF International Goodwill Ambassador), Hyesoo Kim (Korean Committee Goodwill Ambassador), and Faker (Unicaster).
A representative said, “They will participate in the UNICEF Team campaign through talent donation. They aim to convey messages of interest and participation for children.” Secretary-General Jo Mijin of the Korean Committee for UNICEF said, “We appreciate the four individuals for joining us with their precious talents and sincere affection for children.”
She added, “We ask for your interest and participation in the UNICEF Team for children worldwide who have had a difficult year due to war, disasters, and poverty.” The video and photos of the UNICEF Team bracelets will be released on the Korean Committee for UNICEF’s website, the January 2025 edition of fashion magazine ‘Marie Claire,’ and social media channels.
Felix is demonstrating positive influence with UNICEF. This past January, he donated 100 million KRW to the Korean Committee for UNICEF, extending a warm helping hand. He became the youngest ever member of the ‘Honors Club,’ a group that donates over 100 million KRW to UNICEF.
His donation was used to benefit children in the Laos region. In February, Felix visited a UNICEF project site in Laos, participating in programs supporting malnutrition and water hygiene for children, sharing warmth.
On his birthday (September 15th), he donated 50 million KRW to UNICEF, supporting the growth of children around the globe with sincere affection. Meanwhile, Stray Kids is achieving their 6th consecutive No.1 on the US Billboard main chart ‘Billboard 200’ with their new album ‘HOP’ and its title track ‘Walkin’ on Water.’
