He stated, "Now is a golden time to overcome the failures of the previous government, and we must focus all our efforts on overcoming civil unrest and normalizing the Republic of Korea," and requested, "Public officials preparing for the new government on the front lines should all come together and actively cooperate."

Meanwhile, Acting Chairman Park launched strong criticism regarding the inadequate transition of the previous government.

He pointed out, "Leaving behind an office of the presidential office with no staff for the transition, without computers, printers, or even writing instruments, is a criminal act," and stated, "This is clearly an act of obstructing the launch of the new government, which should be operating immediately without a transition committee."

He stressed, "The Democratic Party will not overlook this matter" and declared, "We will hold accountable those who issued such directives."

Earlier, President Yoon Seok-yeol, before announcing the nomination of Kim Min-seok as the Prime Minister in the presidential office briefing room on the 4th, remarked, "(The presidential office) feels like a grave. There’s no one here. There are no staff to provide writing instruments. There are no computers, no printers – it’s absurd."
