
Actress Lee Young-ae returns to the small screen. She participated in a script reading for her new project.
The production team of KBS-2TV's new Saturday-Sunday mini-series "Eunsu's Good Day" (written by Jeon Yeong-shin, directed by Song Hyun-wook) revealed the script reading scene on the 22nd. Lee Young-ae, Kim Young-kwang, Park Yong-woo, and others attended.
"Eunsu's Good Day" is an action thriller. It tells the story of a parent who wants to protect their family and a two-faced teacher who, due to an encounter with a bag of drugs, embarks on a desperate partnership.
The atmosphere of the script reading suggested a synergy of seasoned performances. Lee Young-ae plays the role of Kang Eunsu, delicately expressing complex emotions that fluctuate between urgency, peril, and firmness.
Kim Young-kwang plays Lee Kyung, an after-school art instructor. He has a dual life, being a popular teacher during the day but a club MD at night, revealing tension through his two-faced character.
Park Yong-woo portrays seasoned detective Jang Tae-koo. He is a character pursuing the reality of a drug trafficking organization. Through nuanced acting, he depicted Tae-koo's sharp and charismatic traits.
Additionally, Bae Soo-bin, Jo Yeon-hee, Hwang Jae-yeol, Do Sang-woo, Oh Yeon-ah, and Lee Gyu-sung also delivered outstanding performances, generating anticipation for "Eunsu's Good Day."
They shared their determination regarding the project. Lee Young-ae expressed, "I hope 'Eunsu's Good Day' serves as a turning point that brings a refreshing change to KBS dramas and actors."
Kim Young-kwang added, "Our work tells a story of characters living with their own desires," expressing his excitement about working with Lee Young-ae and Park Yong-woo.
Finally, Park Yong-woo remarked, "I'm happy that the drama I have been looking forward to has become a reality. I believe viewers will feel the tension and excitement from the story full of twists and turns."
Meanwhile, "Eunsu's Good Day" is set to premiere on September 20 at 9:20 PM.
