The film "Escape: Project Silence" (directed by Kim Tae-gon, hereinafter "Escape") has unveiled the appearances of its main characters before and after the disaster.
On the 23rd, CJ ENM released contrasting stills of "Escape," showcasing the before and after situations of the survivors stranded on the Airport Bridge. The moments captured include those of Lee Sun-kyun, Kim Hee-won, and Park Joo-hyun.
First, the bright smile of Security Office administrator "Jung-won" (played by Lee Sun-kyun) catches the eye. He exudes the confidence of a successful public official, sporting a perfectly fitting suit and a neat hairstyle.
Then comes the twist. Jung-won finds himself trapped on the Airport Bridge with his daughter due to an unexpected accident. Displaying paternal love, he leads the survivors and even holds up a torch, showcasing a completely different side of himself.
The contrasting faces of "Dr. Yang" (played by Kim Hee-won) are also revealed. He is the chief researcher of the nation's top-secret "Project Silence." The photos show a stark contrast between his joyous moments with colleagues and his panicked state during the disaster.
The imminent tension is palpable. Golfer "Yura" (played by Park Joo-hyun) and her manager sister "Miran" (played by Park Hee-bon) display tense expressions on the Airport Bridge, a stark difference from their bright demeanor on the golf field.
"Escape" is a disaster survival thriller. It tells the story of people battling for survival against uncontrollable military experiment dogs released on the collapsing Airport Bridge after a chain collision.
The film was released on the 12th.
