The movie 'Escape' (directed by Lee Jong-pil) continues to be a box office hit. In its fourth week of release, it has surpassed 2 million viewers.
According to the integrated computer network of movie ticket sales by the Korean Film Council, 'Escape' exceeded 2 million viewers as of 7 a.m. on the 24th. It is the first Korean movie of this summer to achieve this record.
It surpassed 2 million viewers in just 21 days, continuing its strong box office performance. From the 18th, it ranked first in the overall box office for six consecutive days.
