'ENHYPEN's Seonghoon has been appointed as a promotional ambassador for the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee. The committee held the appointment ceremony on the 16th at the Olympic Hall in Songpa-gu, Seoul, where they presented Seonghoon, a former member of the national figure skating team, with a certificate of appointment.

As a promotional ambassador, he will engage in various activities to raise awareness for the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics and to promote the importance of recreational sports through talent sharing. Seonghoon expressed his gratitude, stating, "I am honored to be able to serve as a promotional ambassador for the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee." He mentioned that recalling his figure skating career feels like "a turning point in my life."

He emphasized that it has helped him significantly in many ways, adding, "The spirit of challenge and concentration that I gained from my experience as a national team member has become the foundation for who I am today." Additionally, he said, "K-pop and sports may be different fields, but they share core values. I will take the lead in sharing the value of sports and highlighting its appeal to many people."

Meanwhile, ENHYPEN, of which Seonghoon is a member, will release their mini-album 'DESIRE : UNLEASH' on the 5th of next month.
