On this day, 'Incident File 24' conveyed the words of Kim Sae-ron’s family attorney, stating, "We expected a sincere apology from Kim Soo-hyun, but there was no apology to the bereaved family."

They also added, "There are at least eight friends who know that the deceased was in a relationship with Kim Soo-hyun since her minor years," and informed that "the deceased's friends are writing a statement out of frustration after watching Kim Soo-hyun's press conference," suggesting that the content of the statement might be released depending on the situation.

The bereaved family stated, "After watching Kim Soo-hyun's press conference, we felt it would have been acceptable for him to acknowledge that he had good feelings for her since her minor years but only met normally after she became an adult. We don't understand why he denies everything."

Earlier, on the 31st of last month, Kim Soo-hyun held an emergency press conference at the Stanford Hotel in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, where he addressed various allegations regarding himself and Kim Sae-ron.

At that time, Kim Soo-hyun emphasized, "I did not date Kim Sae-ron when she was a minor; we started meeting after she became an adult," adding, "I cannot say that a lie is the truth out of coercion. I will prove it."

Furthermore, Kim Soo-hyun stated that the KakaoTalk materials presented by the bereaved family were distorted and that he had to deny the relationship with Kim Sae-ron because there were many things he needed to protect.

Additionally, Kim Soo-hyun's side has filed a defamation lawsuit against the bereaved family's representatives and an unnamed close aunt of Kim Sae-ron, as well as the operator of the YouTube channel 'Garo Sero Research Institute,' and filed a damage claim lawsuit for a total of 12 billion KRW.
