Doyoung of ‘NCT’ has started the countdown to his comeback. On the 5th, SM Entertainment released the music video teaser for Doyoung’s new song ‘Shining So Bright It Hurts’ on their official website. His solid skills as the main vocalist were hinted at.

The music video unfolds the story of Doyoung growing to take a leap into a bigger world. It is depicted like a fairy tale set in a blue nature, capturing a hopeful atmosphere. A part of the new song was also heard, featuring lyrics like “The child of those shining so bright blue days / I’m living my life.” Doyoung’s charming light voice was prominent.

‘Shining So Bright It Hurts’ is a pop-rock genre. Positioned at the end of his 20s, Doyoung delivers a message of encouragement to everyone living in the same era. The latter part builds up with rocking electric guitar, piano, and strings, with the vocal resonating refreshingly. It expresses the excitement of standing before a bigger world to come.

Meanwhile, Doyoung will release the new song on major music sites at 6 PM on the 6th. The music video will also be released simultaneously.
