
Director Hwang Dong-hyuk has requested restraint regarding spoilers for 'Squid Game Season 3.'
The team behind 'Squid Game Season 3' (written and directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk) will hold an online preview event from the 25th to the 27th. Ahead of the release, director Hwang delivered a message.
Hwang expressed his feelings, stating, “I am both nervous and happy to share even a glimpse of the final story of 'Squid Game.'” He added, “In order to successfully conclude the grand journey that has lasted for the past six years, all the cast and crew, including myself, have given our best effort.”
He also hinted at key points for Season 3, saying, “Viewers will be able to witness the choices of characters standing at a crossroads of fate and Gi-hun's final decision.”
To prevent spoilers, he emphasized, “This is the most enjoyable work when you watch it without knowing what comes next. I kindly ask that everyone refrain from sharing spoilers for those who will watch later.”
Finally, he expressed his heartfelt gratitude, saying, “I sincerely thank everyone for their interest and love for the series so far," leaving a closing message to viewers who have been on this long journey together.
'Squid Game' will come to a close with Season 3. This season features the ultimate confrontation between 'Young-Il' (played by Lee Byung-hun) and 'Gi-hun' (played by Lee Jung-jae) over the survival of the game.
Meanwhile, 'Squid Game Season 3' will be released on the 27th.
